The passports of the first São Tomé and Príncipe investors who applied through Astons have already been issued and will soon be in their hands.

We received confirmation of this from the government unit overseeing the program. We are referring to the first Astons investors who submitted citizenship applications under the new program and paid the government contribution.

New programs often raise questions, and that is completely understandable. But we only work with solutions whose reliability we can assess in advance. The program’s terms are set out in law, and the donation — the contribution to the state fund — is made only after citizenship approval is granted. This provides an additional layer of protection for the investor.

To be honest about timing: for the first applications, it turned out to be slightly longer than the stated 2 months. And for a new program, that is normal — processes are always refined through real-life cases.
