At Astons, we treat our clients and friends as VIPs. That's why we organized a trip for our beloved customers to Goodwood Festival of Speed, sometimes dubbed as Ascot but with cars.
Goodwood Festival attracts almost the same number of celebrities as Ascot. It is the leading British automobile show with star drivers, Formula 1 pilots, newest cars and huge drifting Kamaz truck.
This year Goodwood has offered a glimpse of future as self-driving car Roborace managed to blast around the course without anyone behind driving wheel.
Some cars still require drivers. At Goodwood, there were some of the best drivers in the world. F1 legend Emeson Fittipaldi drove his Lotus racing car, the same one that helped him to win the 1972 Formula One championship, and current F1 star Daniel Riccardo battled the wet race track on his racing Renault and then on Renault Megane, showing virtuoso skills of handbrake drifting.
Imagine 10-tonn rally-ready Kamaz truck. And now imagine it doing drift stunts like Ken Block's Ford Fiesta. At some point Kamaz even jumped over Lamborghini.
Astons guests watched this incredible show from Clark Pavilion, located near one of the most dramatic turns of the Goodwood track, and enjoyed champagne, three-course dinner, snacks and high-speed races with the best drivers.
