Dubai Islands is a long-awaited project that is in line with the emirate’s development program Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. The development will consist of 5 islands, namely: Central Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, Marina Island and Elite Island, which will cover an area of over 16.9 square kilometers.

The Dubai Islands project will consist of 9 marinas with 1,300 berths, 87 resorts and hotels, nearly 6,400 m² of beaches, and 38,000 residential units. At the same time, the developer is offering a unique opportunity to invest in land for the construction of buildings of three types: hotel, mixed-use (residential buildings and retail stores) and residential (apartments). The area of plots available for purchase ranges from 2,354 to 5,602 m² and the built-up area ranges from 5,885 to 20,448 m².

Central Island, which is the first of the islands, will become an entertainment hub thanks to a theme park and water park, a beach club, a water sports center and a surf park. In addition, up to 20,000 new hotel rooms are expected to be built here by the end of 2025. The island is planned to house 30,000 medium to high density apartments, which will be surrounded by open spaces, clubhouses and retail space.

The starting sale price of the land plot in the project is AED 11,069,000 (USD 3,014,000).

According to the master plan of the developer, with the mainland of the emirate, will connect the Infinity Bridge, which will allow you to quickly move from one point of Dubai to another. Since the project is still under construction, there is no public transportation available. However, various important places in the emirate can be reached within a 25-minute drive, including:

  • Dubai International Airport;
  • Dubai Hospital;
  • GEMS Legacy School;
  • Etihad Museum;
  • Al Wasl University.

The following attractions are already open in the project:

  • 2 hotels – Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai and Hotel RIU Dubai;
  • Souk Al Marfa is a fully air-conditioned indoor market that will be the largest wholesale market in the UAE when completed. It already has more than 1,500 stores and the market is also set to expand by the end of 2022;
  • Museum Hub, located in the previously mentioned Souk Al Marfa, immerses its visitors in the lifestyle of people before the turn of the millennium and showcases the UAE’s unique heritage. The Museum Hub also offers chocolates and confectionery, pastries, a rare collection of tea and coffee, and handmade ice cream.
