In one of the most attractive cities of the Mediterranean, in Heraklion, Crete, we have a highly impressive residential complex.

One of the most basic bets that the architectural study was asked to win was the location of the building so as to make the most of the transparency of the plot, its orientation, accessibility from both roads and finally privacy.

The central synthetic idea, which made the study stand out, is the creation of two buildings, with facades receding from the boundaries of the plot in order to give space to the formation of the landscape while intensifying the privacy of the houses, and with green spaces in the central the axis, intended for courtyards-gardens of exclusive use with swimming pools.

The guiding design principle in terms of volume and structure, combines the symmetry of the volumes, the clean geometric axes and the large openings, achieving a plasticity of form but also an architectural unity adapted to the modern minimal aesthetics.
