Modern residential complex in Heraklion

In Crete, in a quiet and rapidly developing area, in Mesampelies, we have a residential complex that stands out with its highly aesthetic minimal architectural approach and which manifests the intention to produce a building beyond all expectations.

The palette that forms the exterior of the building is white parapets and shades that enclose the balconies in an alternating rhythm, a double shell shade with a white surface on the underside to aid the indirect lighting of the ground floor and a dark upper side to avoid reflections towards the terrace spaces, while the shell itself is kept in earthy color tones.

All these elements follow a symmetry that characterizes the composition as a whole and lend visual harmony.

The lighting study also played a decisive role in the final design result, which in this particular project was an integral part of the architectural composition from its first stages, incorporating the concept of artificial led lighting with uniformity and potential in many parts of the study.

A particular challenge was the creation of a high-standard building, with the highest A+ energy efficiency, which consistently serves the needs of its owners, with airy apartments that make the most of the orientations and large openings, strategically placed with aesthetics and functionality in mind of individual spaces but also of the whole.

The apartments are distinguished by ergonomics and functionality in all areas. The kitchens and bathrooms are designed individually for each owner and the choice of materials is made based on their needs and preferences, with the constant support of our decorators.

The maximum energy rating of the building A+ is achieved by installing photovoltaic systems with the main advantage of energy compensation, energy frames, 10cm thermal facade as well as cooling heating heat pumps.
