According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), 107,723 residential properties were sold across Turkey in June 2025—a 35.8% increase compared to the same month last year.
The total number of sales in the first half of the year also grew by 26.9% year-on-year, reaching 691,893 transactions.
The top three cities by number of deals were Istanbul with 17,656, Ankara with 9,428, and Izmir with 5,987 sales.
Foreign buyers purchased 1,565 properties, accounting for 1.5% of all transactions. The most popular destinations: Antalya (603 sales), Istanbul (521), and Mersin (128).
The top 3 foreign buyer groups in June were Russians, Ukrainians, and Iranians.
Other key market trends:
- Mortgage sales jumped by 112.6% year-on-year
- Resale homes dominated the market with 68.8% of all deals
- New builds remained steady at 31.2% of transactions
