The Government of North Macedonia is ready to launch its long-awaited citizenship by investment program, Astons understands. This program will help investors to become citizens of North Macedonia after investing 200,000 euro in a government-approved fund.
North Macedonia has been a candidate for accession to the European Union since 2005, citizens of this country don’t need a visa for the Schengen area, Japan and more than 120 other countries. The full details of the program are still not published, but Astons can disclose that processing times for North Macedonian citizenship by investment program will be no more than 3-4 months.
All applications should be submitted through an authorised agent. The citizenship program doesn’t have any requirements for language skills or physical residence in North Macedonia.
