The Cypriot real estate market continues to show steady growth. According to the Department of Lands and Surveys, 1,289 property sale transactions were registered in September 2025 — a 15% increase compared to the same month last year. Activity grew among both local buyers (+17%) and foreign investors (+12%). Since the beginning of the year, the total number of transactions has reached 13,173, up 13% from the same period in 2024.
At the same time, Cyprus ranked among the EU leaders in short-term rental growth. According to Eurostat, in the second quarter of 2025, the number of nights booked through Airbnb, Booking, and Expedia increased by 29% year-on-year.
Experts note that, thanks to sustained demand from foreign investors and a surge in tourism activity, 2025 is set to become one of the most successful years for the Cypriot real estate market in the past two decades.
